P, v, T Equation of State for Polyethylene

AP, v, Tequation of state is theoretically constructed for polyethylene of arbitrary crystallinity. This is done by constructing, separately, equations of state for purely crystalline and purely amorphous polyethylene and then combining the two according to the degree of crystallinity. Very little experimental data is used in constructing either the crystalline or amorphous equations of state. Comparisons of the predictedP, v, Trelations with experiment are quite favorable.
