We report the case of a recurrence of non-Hodgkin lymphoma (NHL) in the thyroid gland detected by fluorine-18-fluorodeoxyglucose (FDG) positron emission tomography/ computed tomography (PET/CT). A 52 year-old woman with history of follicular B cell lymphoma, originating from axillary lymph nodes with complete treatment response after chemotherapy, underwent a restaging FDG-PET/CT for occurrence of cerebellar paraneoplastic syndrome. FDG-PET showed diffuse and increased radiopharmaceutical uptake in the thyroid (maximal standardized uptake value: 20), corresponding to an enlarged thyroid gland at co-registered unenhanced CT (Fig. 1).
