The parametric array loudspeaker is a directional loudspeaker making use of the nonlinearity of air to create a yarrow sound beam. Nonlinear distortions are commonly observed in the parametric array loudspeaker. Many preprocessing methods have been proposed to address the nonlinear distortions. The class of modified amplitude modulation methods have been developed to cater to the bandwidth of the ultrasonic emitter, but there is no published experiment result of this class of methods. This paper presents the recent experiment results of the harmonic distortion levels of the class of modified amplitude Modulation methods.
