Contract disputes hit record high

Contractual disputes that result in formal adjudication have hit a record high, reaching 39 in the final quarter of 2008 - more than the figure for the whole of 2007.The latest figures, from the Construction Industry Council, show that January also had the highest number of adjudication appointments ever seen in this month. A total of 11 were recorded.
