Disseminated Histoplasmosis Diagnosed From Peripheral Blood Film

摘要

Demonstration ofHistoplasma capsulatumin conventional films of peripheral blood establishes the diagnosis of disseminated histoplasmosis. We describe two new examples of this phenomenon and tabulate relevant data from 11 similar cases.
