摘要

A new technique for the analysis of electroluminescent (EL) device physics is reported. Pulsed UV irradiation of thinhyphen;film electroluminescent (TFEL) display panels, when synchronous with one of the drivehyphen;voltage pulses, increases the EL intensity and enhances the polarization at the end of the EL pulse. The EL gain and the enhanced polarization relax jointly over times as long as 200 ms. A linear correlation is observed between ELhyphen;pulse intensity and the associated polarization changes. Interpulse UV irradiation decreases the existing polarization and lowers the intensity of the next EL pulse.
