摘要

We show that cell automaton-based stream cipher, which is very suitable for hardware implementation because of its simple construction, can generate high-quality random numbers which can pass all of NIST statistical tests. And, we also show that this encryption algorithm is able to work up to the limit of FPGA frequency, and has 4.2Gbps encryption (decryption) speed in the case of the board this time used.
