Disk plasma oscillations

摘要

Twohyphen;dimensional disks of electrons on the surface of a semiconductor are shown to possess a set of discrete oscillation frequencies whose magnitudes depend on the size of the disk as well as on the electron areal concentration and the dielectric properties of the substrate.
