abstract_textpA practical and concise protocol for the efficient preparation of 3-sulfenylated benzobfuran derivatives via an addition-elimination/vinylic-nucleophilic substitution reaction is been described. Various substituted 3-sulfenylated benzobfuran derivatives were synthesized in good-to-excellent yields under basic conditions. Remarkably, this procedure offers several advantages including good yields, mild reaction conditions, simple operation, no requirement of extra metals, and gram-scale synthesis./p/abstract_text
