Condensation of homogeneous nucleation of ethanol andnhyphen;propanol is studied in the expansion of a shock tube. For ethanol, the existing range of results is extended and fornhyphen;propanol the first shock tube data are given. The results are compared with previous data obtained by different experimental methods. (AIP)
