摘要

The paper presents finite element approach for the geometric nonlinear aerostatic analysis of cable stayed bridges with different cable layouts. At the beginning of the design, a few different alternatives of cable layout like harp, fan and radiating can be considered. The study will be helpful to the designers to consider the effect of cable layout during the analysis. In this study a parametric study is carried out for single plane as well as double plane bridges for various central spans.
