Quantumhyphen;Mechanical Hamiltonian for Triatomic Chemical Reactions

摘要

Parabolic coordinates are introduced in the triatomic problem. An angular variable is defined in this coordinate system which has the same geometrical interpretation with respect to products as with respect to reactants. Distance variables are introduced in a natural way and they asymptotically approach those appropriate for the separated reactants or products.
