Display debut for private 'Shar'

The first ever public display by an owner/pilot in a V/STOL fighter took place on October 11, when Art Nails demonstrated his BAe Sea Harrier ("Shar") FA.2 XZ439 before a capacity crowd at the Cul-pepper Air Festival in Virginia, USA. The display came 11 months after the former Royal Navy aircraft was damaged at NAS Patuxent River, Maryland, when the nosewheel and starboard outrigger collapsed on landing after its second post-restoration flight.
