paraVehicle development times are now being reduced thanks to advances in CAE and computing. Tools such as computation fluid dynamics (CFD) is helping speed vehicle development and more time is given to design in the virtual stage. Engineers need equipment that allows them to set up cars faster and get results more quickly. Building prototypes are still needed due to limited computing power. Simulation works well with components when taking just one characteristic into consideration.
