Improved potentials for Ne plus; Ar, Ne plus; Kr, and Ne plus; Xe

Improved interatomic potentials for Nehyphen;rare gas pairs have been obtained by fitting a multiparameter potential to low energy differential cross sections, second virial coefficients, and diffusion coefficients. All asymmetric Nehyphen;rare gas potentials have narrower attractive wells than those of the symmetric rare gas pairs. The values ofrmand egr; for Neplus;Ar, Neplus;Kr, and Neplus;Xe are 3.43 Aring;, 71.9deg;K; 3.58 Aring;, 74.5deg;K; and 3.75 Aring;, 75.0deg;K, respectively.
