Criticality in exothermic chemical reactions: Upper and lower bounds of the Frankndash;Kamenetzki parameter

A relatively simple method is employed to derive upper and lower bounds of the critical values of the Frankndash;Kamenetzki parameter, which represent a critical condition for the sohyphen;called rsquo;rsquo;thermal explosionrsquo;rsquo;. The resulting bounds are compared with the critical parameter values and their bounds which were derived by previous authors.
