Trioganotin (IV) Complexes of Schiff Bases Derived from S-methyl and -Benzyldithiocarbazate

Five and six coordinate complexes of triorganotin (IV) moieties with Schiff bases derived from S-methyl or -benzyldithiocarbazate and a ketone or pyridine-2-carboxaldehyde, respectively, have been synthesised and characterized by elemental analysis, molar conductance, molecular weight determination and ultraviolet and infrared spectroscopy. The complexes are nonelectrolytic and monomeric in solution.
