Manufacturing Algebra

摘要

This article presents the fundamentals of the Manufacturing Algebra, a new mathematical approach for describing discrete manufacturing systems in view of their real-time production control. They include an algebraic part for the description of manufacturing processes independent of their technology and a dynamic part to describe the time evolution of the production processes taking place in factories. The dynamics is formulated using discrete-time state equations, at the basis of the modem control design.
