Japanese Showa Shell Sekiyu plans to construct a 7-8-MW solar plant at the site of its 120K-b/d refinery near Tokyo, Japan that is slated to close down around Sept. This project is part of an expected 25 increase in solar panel installations in Japan this year, followed by another 25 rise in 2012.
