摘要

The Onsager phenomenological coefficientsLijfor linear isothermal transport processes for electrolyte solutions have been calculated from the velocity timehyphen;correlation functions. Our approach is based on the assumption that the ionic velocities are evolved by the Fokkerndash;Planck operator. The limiting law expression forLijhas been derived. In addition, numerical calculations using the HNC pair distribution function have been performed for several chloride solutions. The results indicate that our theory can qualitatively describe the experimental values up to a concentration of about 2 M.
