A Report by the Editor-in-Chief for MBE, Volume 32

摘要

Molecular Biology and Evolution (MBE) is the flagship journal of the Society for Molecular Biology and Evolution (SMBE). MBE is entirely owned by SMBE and is published by Oxford University Press (OUP) in conjunction with HighWire Press. Since 1983, it has served as an outlet for research at the intersection of molecular biology and evolution. With recent advances in sequencing technology, the scale of both data and analysis has increased dramatically, and we have worked hard to keep pace in our editorial process and expertise. In addition to fundamental discoveries of broader scope and impact, we focus on publishing new and improved methods, resources, technologies, and theories that will significantly advance evolutionary research. MBE remains committed to serving the SMBE community as a forum for leading research and a resource for broader outreach.
