Soft xhyphen;ray diagnostic for a zhyphen;pinch discharge

摘要

The electron temperature of azhyphen;pinch discharge was determined using the familiar foil absorber method. Details of the xhyphen;ray detector used are described and the results obtained are presented. The measured electron temperature agrees well with the previously determined value of 40 eV obtained by ruby laser Thomson scattering.
