Spectroscopic studies on naphthalene in the vapor phase. I. Fluorescence spectra from single vibronic levels

Fluorescence spectra originating from various single vibronic levels in the first excited singlet state of naphthalenehyphen;h8and hyphen;d8were studied under collisionhyphen;free conditions. The interpretation of the vibrational structure and intensity of the spectra is given in terms of vibronic coupling theory.
