Compulsory product certification deadline pushed back to January 2014

The deadline for registering products under India’s first compulsory registration scheme for electrical and electronic products has been extended, and will now pass on 3 January 2014. This decision was taken in mid-September and is the second time this date, which was original set to enter into force in April 2013, has been pushed back.
