摘要

This paper proposes a new method for image segmentation andextraction using nonlinear cellular networks. Flexible segmentationof complicated natural scene images is Achieved by usingresistive-fuse networks, and each segmented Regions is extracted bynonlinear oscillator networks. We also Propose a nonlinear cellularnetwork circuit implementing both Resistive-fuse and oscillatordynamics by using pulse-modulation Techniques. The basic operation ofthe nonlinear network circuit Is confirmed by SPICE simulation.Moreover, the 10×10-pixel Image segmentation and extraction aredemonstrated by high- Speed circuit simulation.
