A 20-year Mini project - surely that's got to be some kind of record. However, under the circumstances, I'm sure you'll forgive me if I don't cover everything that has been involved with the build of this car and trailer - and, to be honest, because of the long-time gestation period, several of the less important details have been forgotten by the owner anyway. The original plan was just to have a rust-free runabout, but as the owner is happy to admit, he has got a bit carried away over the years. He's not kidding. We will concentrate on the key areas, starting with the Minus shell. Terry Handley got his hands on the shell 20 years ago when he received it as payment for spraying a friend's car, together with several boxes of bits and pieces from the abandoned project. At the time, he wasn't actually looking for a Mini, as he was up to his neck with his scooters.
