Medical application of millimetre waves

The therapeutic potential of MW therapy appears very promising.Our experimental results~29-33,70,85 are consistent with the Russianliterature and with the model of the therapeutic process that we havedeveloped. However, only appropriate clinical trials can provide adefinitive answer regarding the efficacy of MW for medical purposes.Such trials should be conducted in a rigorously controlleddouble-blind manner. If and when proven effective in independ-ently-controlled double-blind trials, MW therapy may become aninexpensive and non-invasive adjunct therapy or even a monotherapyfor some diseases.
