EN standard for PLC emissions set for November

The European Committee for Electrotechnical Standardization (CENELEC) is planning to issue a new standard in November to help control interference from power line communication (PLC) technology used on low voltage power systems deployed in the home. It has been designated EN 50561-1:2013 and will in time be available for showing compliance with the EMC Directive 2004/108/EC and the RTTE Directive 1999/5/EC.
