The paper reports oscillation and doubling of the 0.946hyphen;mgr; line in Nd3plus;:YAG. Peak,Qhyphen;switched output powers of approximately 2 kW at 0.473 mgr; were obtained. The results of a calculation for optimum nonlinear coupling to an internalQhyphen;switched laser are given.
