Agreement on NLF for eight directives due before end of 2013

Achieving an agreement on plans to implement the rules of the New Legislative Framework (NLF) into a series of key CE Mark directives seems to be very close according to reports from the European Parliament. The parliament’s Internal Market and Consumer Protection Committee (IMCO) expect to achieve this before the presidency of the Council of Ministers passes away from Lithuania at the end of 2013. It will be considered by the whole parliament in a session on 10 December 2013.
