Today environmental pollution is the main problem which we face every day .To overcome this problem, the production houses should include concepts of Green in to their supply chain. Environmental concern has become an important factor these days, so we are in need of practicing supply chain concern towards environment. People with increase in environmental concerns leads to the attention to concept of Green Supply chain management. The supply chain revolution of the 1990s has made it evident that thebusiness best practices call for integration of environmental management with ongoing operations. In early 1990's the environmental impacts of production were the main reason for commitment to the greening of supply chain management. Nowadays people aregetting more conscious about the issues of environmental and food security. They are keen to know about the whole process of product manufacturing of their company and how green their supply chain is. Green Supply chain management includes procurement,transportation, packaging, and reverses logistics. This paper highlighted the customer's overview about the manufacturing of the product. As the use of plastic is a major problem across the globe and people are concerning more about their health so theyprefer the companies who are sustainable to their whole process of manufacturing. For this a small survey is done about the concern of customers for the sustainability of the product. The paper is specially targeted on the packaging of companies.
