Amplification of microwaves by superconducting microbridges in a fourhyphen;wave parametric mode

摘要

We have observed an electronic gain of 12 dB at 10 GHz in a parametric amplifier whose nonlinear element is a series of unbiased Andersonhyphen;Dayem microbridges. The bandwidth was measured to be 1 GHz and the noise temperature to be less than 20 K.
