Special Section on Nonlinear Theory and its Applications

摘要

Since the 1st Internationa Symposium on Nonlinear Theory and its Applications (NOLTA) in 1990, the importance and scope of nonlinear theory and its applications have continuously grown, in particular, in the recent complex-network era. NOLTA symposium is now widely recognized as the most prestigious international conference where many leading scientists and engineers assemble. NOLTA2008 was held at Budapest, Hungary, Sept. 7-10, 2008. About 200 excellent papers of various research fields submitted from over 20 countries were presented in the symposium.
