In 2008, no one in the software business can possibly contemplate building their company without asking the question, "What, if any, part of my software development should I outsource?" Currently the number of options is staggering: India, Eastern Europe, Korea, Vietnam and of course China. Prices vary and pro's and con's of each location abound-lots of research to review. But there is one consideration some entrepreneurs don't consider and it's a big one. Whereas the vast majority of software start-ups plan to be sold, one key question should be, "What affect will this decision have on my valuation?"
