Tchyphen;99m Red Blood Cell Scintigraphy in Acute Intrahepatic Hematoma

A focal hot area on Tc-99m blood pool Imaging of the liver is usually indicative of a cavernous hemangioma. This report illustrates the unusual finding of a neoplastic cold area with a coexisting hot area from acute intrahepatic hemorrhage.
