Today we live in a cloud of negative thoughts.Radio,television,the movies,and all forms of the printed word have learned that violence and bad news attract an audience and that sells advertising.As a result,they seem to write more about doom and gloom than about good times.The one exception is when they are attempting to sell a product or an idea.It now seems to be a given that Asia and other low-labor-rate countries will continue to improve their standard of living at the expense of the U.S.economy.It is also widely touted that in order to be successful in the future,companies large and small have to be positioned to sell to the large populations in India and China.These predictions are repeated so frequently that it is taken for granted that they are factual.
