Use of melt flow index(MFI)to estimate melt flow behavior is a common practice-the higher the MFI value,the lower the material's viscosity at a given temperature,right? Well,while this characteristic is useful when it comes to estimating processing parameters and ease of plastication,MFI doesn't necessarily provide valuable information on the relationship of part defects to mold filling.
