Cad formulas for resonant frequencies of tm11mode of circular patch antenna with or without superstrate

AbstractCurve‐fitting formulas based on moment‐method results are presented for the resonant frequency of the TM11mode of a coaxially fed circular patch antenna with or without superstrate. The formulas can be used for a wide range of substrate and superstrate thicknesses and permittivities. Results predicted by these computer‐aided design formulas agree well with moment‐method results and with measurement. © 1994 John WileyS
