Relationship Between Plastic Limit Values and Fine Fractions of Soils

摘要

The paper examines the change of soil plastic limit values as a function of percent of fine soil fraction and demonstrates the importance of determination of the interval of plastic limit monotonic increase. The above-mentioned analysis provides a scientific justification for the development of statistically correct relationships between cohesive soil physical and mechanical properties and plastic limit values.
