In this paper, we study a wavelength allocation method to guarantee multiple QoS classes in wavelength routing networks with limited-range wavelength converters. In this method, connections of each class can only utilize each dedicated wavelengths. In addition, to achieve lower connection loss probability of each class, the shared wave lengths which all classes can utilize are provided. We model this method as a two-stage queueing system with multiple primary stations and single secondary one, and calculate the connection loss probability of each class under the method with EQRM and simulation. In numerical examples, we show how the proposed method affect the connection loss probability of each QoS class in terms of the shared wavelengths.
