摘要

The hierarchical porous carbons, whose pore structure is composed of large cell pores (macropores) with additional mesopores located in frameworks, have attracted much attention for potential applications in many fields of science and engineering 1. These carbon materials have advantages over the unimodal carbon materials (mesoporous or macroporous carbon) in terms of diffusion efficiency and high surface area. It is noted that the interconnection between main cell pores (macropores) and between macropores and mesopores should be guaranteed for the facile diffusion of a molecule of interest. A typical example was reported by Chai et al. 2 who fabricated ordered macroporous carbon with hierarchical pore structure using aggregates of polystyrene and silica particles as templates. Although there is no doubt that such carbon material has a favorable structure for many potential applications, the preparation method is somewhat tedious because it requires long time for the preparation of template 3.
