SummaryWarthog activity was recorded at 4‐min intervals for continuous periods of 14 h on three consecutive days. The major activities were feeding or lying down and walking. The amount of time spent in feeding is related to the size of the animal and maximum‐intensity feeding occurs in the early morning and in the late afternoon and evening. The animals drank usually only once each day.
