Strength characteristics of optical protective glasses for gas-dynamic apparatus

This paper presents the results of studies of the thermal and mechanical characteristics of optical protective glasses for gas-dynamics apparatus when they are acted on by excess pressure and elevated temperature. Recommendation are made concerning the choice of the optimum conditions for attaching an optical element to its holder, the sealing of the structure, and the operating conditions.
