This paper gives a further examination of the statistics of the S.A.A. Code for Concrete in Buildings, CA 2#x2014;1963 with a discussion of the compatibility of the requirements to be met for individual samples of six and the collection of thirty six samples. Furthermore attention is drawn to the probabilities associated with obtaining isolated cases of low strength and also a low overall average strength. Reasons are given for suggesting that certain of the existing requirements are unduly conservative.
