Microdetermination of Vanadium in Water Samples

摘要

The proposed method incorporates preconcentration of vanadium in water samples by its coprecipitation on ferric hydroxide at pH 8.0-9.6 which is redissolved in sulphuric acid; this is followed by extraction withN-phenylbenzohydroxamic acid (PBHA). The precision and accuracy of the newly developed method was ascertained by analysing EPA (Environmental Protection Agency, U.S.A.) standard water samples.
