The January 2005 InTech Safety article "Lightning Strikes:Protection Concepts" by Peter A.Carpenter contains some incorrect information about lightning stroke frequency and overstates the effectiveness of the charge transfer system (CIS) lightning elimination system,a "non-conventional" lightning protection system (LPS).
