In this chapter are included the papers containing the subjects of rail- and roadways, road traffic engineering and a small number of papers concerning the problems of graphic scheduling of transport projects. The adoption of such a limited area equals the assumption that the problems concerning the design, construction and operation of the remaining transport objects, mainly bridges, will find its place in appropriate branches of building engineering (concrete, steel etc.). When enumerating individual papers no attempt shall be made to present their full titles, but only the gist of the subject. Valuation of papers is also avoided, since the very fact of their publication in the Archives of Civil Engineering is the proof of scientific level satisfying the requirements of the Polish Academy of Sciences.
