Power characteristics of unstable resonator cavity semiconductor stripe lasers

摘要

Approximate formulas for the power output from unstable resonator cavity highhyphen;gain semiconductor stripe lasers are derived using the geometrical optics theory. The formulas for the outcoupling efficiency are related to measurable quantities, and shown to be in good agreement with the available experimental data.
