Gibberellin-like substances in bulb species

摘要

The occurrence of gibberellin-like substances in six important bulb species was determined. The results demonstrate the presence of both free and bound GA-like substances inAllium, Hyacinthus, Iris, Lilium, Narcissus, andTulipa. The possible significance of this class of growth substances in relation to bulb development is discussed.
