Concrete Choreography - Dance of the Concrete Columns

In Riom the Origen Festival of Culture, together with the ETH Zurich, erected nine columns made from digitally produced concrete. The open-air art installation was intended not only to recall the local tradition of travelling confectioners but also to serve as a source of inspiration for dance presentations. At the same time these objects demonstrate the innovative and sustainable potential of an architecture made possible by computers and robots.
